Was sat at home at a loose end with nothing to do. Too windy for hangliding, perfect for windsurfing/kitesurfing but dont have enough kit so I thought i'd get my dads old paraglider out and give it a bash in the field.
Got my bro & my dad to kite me up into the sky with the 20metre rope we had and I was easily getting 20ft up in the air with the strong gusts coming through. Was just practicing groundhandling really and it was a right handful in the gusty conditions.
A nice little introduction to the sport. Just a few more practice days on that and i'l head to the hill one day when theres no wind.
